Glen Edward McCartneyGlen Edward McCartney was born on January 5, 1938, in Howe, Oklahoma
to Troy Russell McCartney and Jewel (Drury) McCartney. He died on Thursday,
May 26, 2022, at his home in Collinsville at the age of 84 years. Glen was raised
and educated in Howe, Oklahoma and graduated with the Howe High School Class
of 1957. He was married on November 30, 1957, in Pampa, Texas to Rita Faye
(Butcher) McCartney. Glen spent most of his working life as a shipping and
receiving foreman with Happy Co. in Tulsa for almost 30 years. He has been a
faithful member of the Assembly of God all his life. Recently he and Rita became
members of Cowboy Up Cowboy Church in Ramona, Oklahoma. In his spare time,
Glen enjoyed a variety of past times such as hunting, fishing, camping and enjoyed
watching nature outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Troy and Jewel, and his sister, Velma.

Visitation will be held 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1, 2022,
at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. on
Thursday, June 2, 2022, at Cowboy Up Cowboy Church in Ramona, Oklahoma.
Graveside service will be held 3:00 at Howe Cemetery in howe, Oklahoma. In lieu
of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Glen’s memory to Cowboy
Up Cowboy Church Building Fund, 398364 West 3600 Road, Ramona, Oklahoma.
