J E LittleJack Edward Little, Jr., was born January 28, 1942, in Cairo, Illinois, to Jack Edward and Willis Geraldine Cooper Little. He died Sunday, March 18, 2018, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 76 years. Jack was reared and educated in Muskogee, Oklahoma, and graduated with the Muskogee High School Class of 1960. He continued his education attending Northeastern Oklahoma State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He was married November 4, 1963, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, to Marilyn Avis Thompson. Since 1978, they had made their home in Owasso, Oklahoma. Jack spent much of his working life in retail management with S & H Kress, T. G. & Y., and McCrory. As a faithful member of Rejoice Church in Owasso, he was involved in the construction of different stage sets for the church. He was also an active volunteer with Standing In The Gap. Jack enjoyed a variety of pastimes, especially spending time outdoors working in his yard, mowing, and tending his garden, but his favorite activity was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Grandchildren: Chas Beeson, Lanie Beeson, Jack Dodson, Claire Dodson, Lily Dodson,

Sister-in-law: Janice Little of Muskogee
Nieces and Nephews: Leigh Ann and Phillip Hardy, Reagan Hardy, and Riley Hardy of McKinney, Texas; Andy and Lindsay Little, Kennedi Little, and Drew Little of Broken Arrow

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Marilyn Little, and his brother, Howard Little.

 
Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, March 20, 2018, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at Rejoice Church in Owasso with Pastor Leonard Pirtle and Pastor Bill Gable officiating. Serving as casket bearers will be Shawn Little, John Beeson, Chas Beeson, Jon Dodson, Andy Little, and Jack Dodson. Committal service and interment will follow at Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery in Owasso. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Rejoice Foundation, 13413 East 106th Street North, Owasso, Oklahoma, 74055. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
