Janice Kay PhillipsJanice Kay Phillips was born on April 3, 1946, in South Bend, Indiana to Reverend Floyd Merlin Overholt and Reva Dean (Burch) Overholt. She passed from this life on Monday, January 31, 2022, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma at the age of 75 years. Janice was raised as a Pentecostal in South Bend, Indiana. Janice married Robert A. Phillips “the love of her life” on January 21, 1961, and they first resided in Topeka, Kansas for 22 years where Janice worked as a dietician within a family business Bethel Care Home in Topeka, Kansas whilst Robert worked for the State of Kansas as a Painter. After relocating to Ballground, Georgia she helped her husband run a Painting Company for 28 years. In 2011, Janice and Robert retired and returned to Robert’s home state of Oklahoma. Lastly, residing in Tulsa for 12 years and recently in Bartlesville near Oglesby. Janice was a longtime faithful member of Bethel Tabernacle Pentecostal Church in Waleska, Georgia and First Pentecostal of Tulsa, Oklahoma. She enjoyed a variety of past times such as decorating her home, collecting dolls, reading the Bible. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and they her.

Kaylee, Natalie, Indy, Atticus, Tobias, Conner, Chance, and Isaiah.
3 Siblings;
Floyd Overholt Jr. and wife Nancy
Maxine Jarvis (Robert-deceased)
Karen Shelinbarger (Roy-deceased)
Numerous Nieces and Nephews; close neighbors and childhood friends as well.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Reva Overholt.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 4, 2022, at Oglesby Assembly of God Church in Ramona, Oklahoma with Reverend J. Randolph officiating. There will be a visitation at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Oglesby Cemetery on Oglesby, Oklahoma. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso.
