Spread the love
Jerry Lynn HuttonJerry Lynn Hutton was born October 14, 1954, in Farmington, New Mexico, to Earl Alford Wecker and Dovie Alice Barrett Wecker. She went to her eternal rest on Friday, July 29, 2022, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

She attended school in Sperry, Oklahoma and spent much of her life in the area. In April 1980 she welcomed her only child, Tami with first husband, Richard Shackelford. On June 23, 1995, the family expanded when she married the love of her life, John “Mike” Hutton in Eureka Springs, Arkansas and gained stepson, T.J.

Jerry and Mike spent plenty of time riding motorcycles and traveling in the 5th wheel – War Eagle and Branson were some of their favorites. It’s safe to say Jerry enjoyed retirement. Outside of traveling, she and Mike enjoyed bidding on – and winning many – storage units. She also spent countless hours on outings with her nieces, and one of her greatest loves was being “Mema” to her five grandchildren.

To know Jerry is to fully expect that every time you saw her you would receive a sideways glance and a wise crack or one liner. She had a twinkle in her eye that made you question if she was actually bluffing. There is no question that her legacy will live on through her family.

Jerry is survived by: daughter Tami Hewitt and husband Chad; stepson, T.J Hutton; grandsons, Alec Hutton and wife Kelley, Matthew Hutton, Andrew Hutton, Bentley Hewitt and Carson Hewitt; sister Patricia Letterman; many cousins, nieces, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother, Corky Wecker; sisters, Margie Young, Earlene Swisher, and Monita Duncan.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at the Mowry Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Reverend Kevin Laufer officiating. Private family disposition will be held at a later date.
Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
