Jimmie Lee “Jim” Clark was born November 6, 1932, in Anderson, Missouri, to Orville E. Clark and Charsy Faye Bartlett. He died Friday, July 4, 2014, in Owasso at the age of 81 years. Jim was reared and educated in Anderson, Missouri and graduated with the Anderson High School Class of1951. He was married August 2, 1952, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, to Barbara Lou Peak. He moved to Owasso in the fall of 1972 and was a member of the American Legion. Jim was a hardworking man and enjoyed restoring antique cars. He also had a passion for building steel guitars and even built some for famous musicians such as George Jones and Tammy Wynette.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara, and three sisters, Jo Ann Bergen, Mary Lou Wood, and Doris Faye Dye.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Pastor Bob Haywood officiating. Interment will be held at Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery in Owasso. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
