Country superstar to play The Joint inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa

TULSA, Okla. – Martina McBride has one of the strongest voices in country music, and for more than two decades she has used it to entertain fans worldwide. On May 31, the country superstar will perform at The Joint inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa.

Tickets start at $55 and go on sale April 18.

Since launching her career in 1992, McBride has released 11 studio albums, a greatest hits compilation and a live album that have sold more than 14 million copies. Her last seven albums have all peaked in the Top 5 with three nabbing the top spot.

She has released 50 singles to date, including the No. 1 hits “Wild Angels,” “A Broken Wing,” “Wrong Again,” “I Love You” and “Blessed.” Other hit singles include “This One’s for the Girls,” “In My Eyes,” “Anyway” and “Happy Girl.”

Her most recent release is 2011’s “Eleven.” It features the singles “Teenage Daughters,” “I’m Gonna Love You Through It” and “Marry Me.”

In 2004, McBride earned her fourth CMA Female Vocalist of the Year award, tying her with Reba for the most all time. Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood each have three. In total, McBride has been nominated for the award an astounding 14 times. She has also won the ACM Top Female Vocalist award three times.

McBride has headlined multiple tours and been a supporting act for some of the industry’s biggest legends, including Garth Brooks, Brooks & Dunn, Tim McGraw and most recently George Strait.

The Sharon, Kan., native works with numerous charities and has served as a spokeswoman for Tulsa Domestic Violence Intervention Services, the National Domestic Violence Hotline and the National Network to End Domestic Violence.
