Mary Ellen Wilson was born October 18, 1938, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to William Edwin and Gladys L. Garrison Wilson. She died Monday, December 14, 2020, in Sperry, Oklahoma, at the age of 82 years. Mary was reared and educated in Tulsa and was graduated with the Central High School Class of 1956. She was married May 3, 1957, in Tulsa, to James P. Wilson. She spent much of her working life with Tulsa Public Schools as a cafeteria manager. She was a longtime faithful member of the Turley United Methodist Church. Mary was an excellent cook and enjoyed canning, cooking, and baking. She also enjoyed playing Bingo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James, brothers, Frank Winn and Basil Winn, sisters, Virginia Dedmon and Dorothy Berry, and grandson, Keith Wilson
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 17, 2020, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 1:30 p.m. Friday, December 18, 2020, at the Mowery Funeral service Chapel in Owasso with Pastor Adam Stang officiating. Serving as casket bearers will be Tom Burch, Jeff Wise, Korey Wilson, Scott Williams, Larry Dedmon, and Floyd Olson. Honorary casket bearers will be Wendell Williams, Dale Garrison, Billy Thompson, Steve Thompson, Richard Whited, and Arthur McAfee. Committal service and interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa. The family requests memorial contributions be made in memory of Mary Wilson, c/o The Exchange Bank, P.O. Box 448, Skiatook, Oklahoma, 74070. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
