Neva Money, longtime resident of Owasso, was born on December 20, 1929 in Graham, Oklahoma to Melvin and Rhoda Simmons. Neva Money passed peacefully on Wednesday, May 5th, 2021 at her residence in Owasso, Oklahoma at the age of 91. Her husband, Troy Money, proceeded her in death on May 3rd, 2015. They were married on February 8th, 1952. They were married for 63 years and now are reunited in heaven. Neva was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great mother and was a long time member of Bethel Baptist Church in Owasso. Neva spent most of her years raising and loving on her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Neva loved God and her church where she was a Sunday School teacher for many years. She had a passion for cooking for her family and she made a great pot of spaghetti or chicken and noodles.
Neva’s loving family members include daughter, Janice Money of Owasso, son, Joel Money of Claremore, Four grandchildren; Luke Campbell, Stacey Williams, Shelly Bell and Jenny Money all of Owasso, 8 great grandchildren; Kyle Fugate, Mia, Kate and Troy Williams, Alex Bell, Haven Kelley, sister, Juanita Melton of Antioch, Ca and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends and family may visit Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso on Sunday May 9th, 2021 from 2-5:00 for visitation. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 Monday at the Mowery Funeral Chapel led by Tom Schwartz. Donations can be made in Neva’s name to Cura Hospice.
Serving as casket bearers will be Luke Campbell, Hudson Campbell, Ralph Bell, Justin Williams, Kyle Williams and Josh Kelly.
