06/17/2020 – Owasso Gathering on Main is back! The 2020 season will be kicking off on Thursday, July 2nd.  The April, May, and June events were canceled due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

The outdoor street fair, which covers over four blocks of Owasso’s Main Street hosts food trucks, a kids zone, street vendors, two talent stages, and more.

The current event boasts three recent competitors from NBC’s TheVoice.  Owasso resident Gracee Shriver will headline the stage at Redbud Park, located at the north end of the event path.  Gracee is bringing along TheVoice contestants MaryBeth Byrd and Cory Jackson to round out the stage performances.

The second “Community Stage” will be located at the south end of the event this season, with area acts appearing for the crowd.

Within the four blocks between the two stages, you will find a kids zone, dozens of art, craft and business vendors, as well as special attractions to delight all those in attendance. The food court and food trucks are located at the north end of the street.

July’s event will kick off with City officials conducting a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 6 PM for the new Redbud Festival Park.

The Owasso Gathering on Main takes between 76th Street and 2nd Street on Main.  Parking is available throughout the Redbud District.  Events are the first Thursday of each month, April through October.

A FEW NOTES ABOUT COVID FROM THE GATHERING ON MAIN:

“We’re listening to medical experts and cooperating with local leaders. Because we’ve entered Phase 3, we’re excited that events like the Gathering can take place! The best vendors at the Gathering will thoughtfully consider their cleaning practices and respect social distancing recommendations.

We hope all of our vendors and guests will honor one another and do what’s best and safest for you, your family, and your community.”
