2017 Owasso Shop with a Cop
12/22/17 – This morning the Owasso Police Department partnered up with children from across the area for their annual Shop with a Cop day.
Prior to their shopping experience, Tim Rich, owner of the local McDonald’s Restaurant located inside Walmart, treated children and officers alike to breakfast before the shopping adventure began.
Fifteen officers were paired with fifteen children, each armed with $100 to spend. The teams quickly disbursed between toys and electronics, to pick out gifts not only for themselves, but for friends and family.
The event is sponsored by the Owasso Fraternal Order of Police, with monies raised though fundraisers throughout the year.
