03/30/2017 OWASSO, OK – If you saw police cars at your elementary school this morning, do not be alarmed. It was just an escort for some VIP students!
The Owasso Police had the privilege of taking two very special students to school this morning. At a recent raffle at Stone Canyon Elementary, 5yo James Wakefield and 6yo Ryen Wakefield won the prize of a full police escort to school.
Sgt Chris Latta drove Ryen to Stone Canyon while Officer Adam Harmon drove James to Rejoice Christian.
The children got to activate lights and sirens (not on the roadway of course), try on police gear and they had a great time!
