ATM Suspect09/06/2017 – On Tuesday, September 5, 2017 the Owasso Police Department was informed of the vandalism of a Bank of Oklahoma ATM 96th Street North and Garnett.  Security cameras at that location had recorded an incident on September 4 at 10:30pm in which a man removed the pin pad guard from the face of the ATM, causing approximately $100.00 in damage to the machine.

More concerning than the vandalism is the potential intentions of the suspect to alter the ATM for fraudulent purposes.  While no evidence has been uncovered to suggest that the suspect actually installed a card skimmer or recording device, it is common for suspects to alter ATM machines in preparation for such an acts designed to defraud future users of the ATM.  There is no evidence to suggest that any customers at this location were defrauded and no customer information was compromised.

If anyone recognizes the person show in the attached image, they are urged to contact the Owasso Police Department tip line at 918-272-COPS.
