Peggy Jane Moseby was born October 12, 1934, in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, to Jess Wesley Davis and Inza Mae Arnold Davis. She died Wednesday, October 22, 2025, in Owasso, Oklahoma at the age of 91 years. Peggy was married June 20, 1953, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Donald John Moseby, Sr. They made their home in Owasso in 1976 at the time Don founded and began his pastorate at Maranatha Baptist Temple in Collinsville, Oklahoma. Peggy dearly loved her family and raising her children. She spent time working outside the home as a retail clerk with T.G.& Y. and then with Wal-Mart. Peggy’s hobbies included crocheting, reading, and traveling. Together with Don, she enjoyed foreign mission work.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jess Davis and Inza Martin, brothers, Bill Davis, J.W. Davis, Charles Davis, and Richard Davis, half-brothers, Donald Riley and Ronald Riley, sisters, Betty Torres, Phyllis Yarborough, Mary Lou Martin, and Patricia Alberts.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, November 2, 2025, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 3, 2025, at Maranatha Baptist Temple in Collinsville with Pastor Andy Plunk officiating. Committal service and interment will follow at Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery in Owasso. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
