On Thursday evening, July 3rd, Owasso Police responded swiftly to a reported theft in progress at Ulta Beauty, located at 9018 N 121st E Avenue. Just after 7:30 PM, dispatchers received a call stating that two women had filled large bags with merchandise and exited the store without paying.

Coincidentally, patrol officers were already in the same shopping center investigating a separate theft. They quickly redirected to Ulta, where they caught the suspects attempting to get into their vehicle and flee the scene. Officers detained both women and discovered they were in possession of over $10,600 in stolen merchandise.

Thanks to alert callers and a prompt response from Owasso’s night shift patrol officers, both suspects were arrested without incident. All of the stolen items were recovered and returned to the store.

Arrested were:

  • Christine Louise Fields, 31, of Tulsa

    • Grand Larceny (Shoplifting)

    • Conspiracy to Commit a Felony

    • Possession of Narcotics

    • Outstanding Warrant for Theft/Shoplifting

  • Dameca Dasean Fields, 31, of Tulsa

    • Grand Larceny (Shoplifting)

    • Conspiracy to Commit a Felony

    • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Both women were processed at the Owasso Municipal Jail before being transferred to the Tulsa County Jail.
