Spread the love

Randall “Randy” Wayne Pruitt passed suddenly from this life on 9/1/2020. Randy was born on 7/28/1971 in Tulsa Ok to Bud and Judy Pruitt. He was raised in the Collinsville/Owasso area and graduated from Owasso High School in 1989. Randy had a love of law enforcement and worked for the City of Owasso as a reserve officer and animal control officer before joining his family in their business of auto repair at Pruitt’s Body Shop. He later opened his own body shop, Pruitt’s Auto Collision. Randy loved roller skating and spending time coaching baseball and softball when he was younger. It was not uncommon to see him with wheels on his feet moving around the body shop while checking on cars. He also spent time building model cars and learning about and building computers. Randy loved 80s model Chevy trucks and El Caminos and spent many hours restoring them to look like beautiful new vehicles. He took great pride in the work he did, not only for his own vehicles but for the vehicles of all his customers. His son, Caleb Wayne Pruitt was his pride and joy. He loved his son more than anything in the world. They spent many hours watching and discussing movies together. His favorite movie of all time was Smokey and the Bandit.

Randy is survived by his son Caleb Pruitt, father Bud Pruitt, sister Jennifer Plumlee, Grandmother Mary Lou Cooper, nephew Alex Plumlee and niece Jordan Plumlee Luis. He was preceded in death by his mother Judy Pruitt and grandparents Marion & Dora Pruitt and Marvin Cooper.
