With the separation of the Owasso Police Department and the new City Hall, citizens have been asking where do I go? Today the Owasso Police Department answered those questions via their Facebook page:

Owasso traffic tickets, fines and fees. With the relocation of Owasso City Hall from 111 N Main to 200 S Main, there have been many customers confused as to where to go to handle certain Municipal business. The office of the Court Clerk also moved to the new City Hall location at 200 S Main (the corner of 76th St N and Main St). To pay any fine or fee associated with citations received from Owasso Police or Owasso Animal Control they can be handled at the Court Clerk’s Office. All other municipal fees, permits or other municipal business can also be handled at City Hall. However, to post bond for any prisoner incarcerated at the Owasso Municipal Jail, that must still be done at 111 N Main Street, the Owasso Police Department/Municipal Jail.

Public parking for City Hall (200 S Main St) is located on the west side of the building (between the building and the railroad tracks).

Public parking for the Police Department (111 N Main St) is located on the North Side of the building. For safety purposes the Police Department/Municipal Jail is a secure facility. Public entry can only be made through the north doors of the building. All doors to the Police Department are locked and secure. Members of the public can announce their presence through the buzzer/intercom located on the north doors access point.

Municipal Court, whether it is criminal court, traffic court or juvenile court, is located at the Old Central Municipal Building located at 109 N Birch St (directly behind the Police Department on Birch). Public parking and access to Municipal Court is on the north side of the Old Central building. Court dates are always on Thursdays at 6PM, however criminal, traffic and juvenile courts are held on different Thursdays throughout the month.

Any questions please feel free to call City Hall at 918-376-1500 or the Owasso Police at 918-272-2244.
