Funeral cross with sunraysRobert Christopher “Chris” Greenwell, 51 of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at his residence. He was born February 18, 1965, a son of Robert Elkana Greenwell and Michelle Elizabeth Van Loozen Greenwell.
Chris grew up in Texas living out in the country where he thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors and raising animals. He was a very religious man and loved spending time with his children raising them in a loving and caring Christian home. He loved reading the word of God, making it a part of his daily life and was considered to be that of a “Street Evangelist”. His faith was a main focus in raising his children and used faith as a tool to bring family and friends close together. Chris had two years of formal Bible training at Tree of Life in New Braunfels, Texas.
Chris was very big in weight training and body building and helped all of his kids as well as others in achieving the same goal. He always wanted to be a weight training instructor where he could make it Christian based and Godly focused. He also had a desire to be an actual Preacher.
He is survived by two daughters, Kayleen Greenwell and Cara Greenwell; two sons, Andrew Greenwell and Jonathan Amaro; his parents, Robert and Michelle Greenwell; two brothers, Stephen Greenwell and Jeff Greenwell; and five grandchildren, Selena Greenwell, Jake, Luke, Levi and Noel Amaro.
He was preceded in death by his son, Brian Garrett “Malichi” Greenwell in May of 2015.
