Spread the love

Gift-giving time is right around the corner, which means it’s time to think about what you’ll be getting those special ladies in your life. The Boutique at Bella Dea, Owasso’s newest gift boutique located within the Suites at Bella Dea, is the perfect place to find unique items for every girl—at any age—on your list.

From jewelry, home décor and a spa line, to candles, sorority gift items, cards and specialty toys, the Boutique at Bella Dea offers a wide range of merchandise. Owner Jami Pelton says the best part is customers can stop by and pick up a gift for any occasion, have it wrapped for free, and
quickly be on their way. “But,” she adds, “they are welcome to come in and just visit if that is what they need, too. I have two chairs in the shop just for
that purpose.”

While the Boutique at Bella Dea opened this past August, Pelton isn’t new to retail in Owasso. She owned Primarily Kids for 13 years, a specialty toy store focusing on customer service and quality, fun gifts for children. The community relationships she developed through the years prompted her to open the Boutique and enter the retail business once again.

“I
developed relationships with many people, and that is the reason I am doing this,” she says. “I missed the people, their families and their lives. I worked in an office in Tulsa after closing the store, but missed the interaction with people. When this opportunity presented itself, I was ready for a change.”

Pelton is also pleased to once again offer her customers unique, hard to find items, and that’s exactly what you’ll find at the Boutique. She carries Aspen Bay Candles and Rustic Cuff bracelet/cuffs as the only Owasso retailer. “Rustic Cuff has been featured on Good Morning America and The List, and the cuffs have been worn by Kathie Lee Gifford, Miranda Lambert and many other celebrities. I am currently working with the designer to design a cuff for the holidays that will only be available at the Boutique in Owasso,” Pelton says.

The Boutique is also the only retailer in Oklahoma to carry Fibi and Clo, a new jeweled sandal company, which is growing quickly. And although she no longer runs a complete toy store, Pelton offers a specialty toy line at the Boutique, Groovy Girls by Manhattan Toy, for the little ladies on every Christmas gift list.

While she is pleased to be back in her element, offering quality, specialty merchandise to the Owasso community, Pelton says there’s much more to it than that which motivates her. “I have spent many years developing friendships and want this to be a time to rekindle those and build new relationships,” she says. “We all have a purpose and a time to fulfill it; I believe this is mine. It is not just a business—it is a life choice.”
The Boutique at Bella Dea is open Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. It is located at 505 E. 19th Street in Owasso.
