Trails End Quilters’ Guild

September 24 @ 6:30pm

LET’S SWAP by Cynthia LeBlanc Regone (Cajun Classics)

1“This lecture covers the many aspects of block exchanges: how to make them successful, the pitfalls to avoid, the reasons for doing an exchange, which blocks work well, and which blocks don’t. I will show Round-Robin quilts, row quilts, uneven grid quilts, cutting bee quilts, a “keep it yourself and work on it yourself” Round-Robin quilt, friendship quilts, and quilts that would be perfect for an exchange.”

2Cynthia lectures and teaches throughout the United States. She specializes in unusual combinations of colors and fabrics. Her quilts have a distinctive appearance and have won many awards.

Cynthia has been featured in Fons and Porters magazine Love of Quilting, Quilt Works Today, and Quilting Today magazines and Quilting Calendars. Published by That Patchwork and distributed by Martingale Press. Most recently two of her quilts were featured on the PBS program Love of Quilting.
