Alyssa Yancey
Owasso Tulsa Technology Center, Health Science Technology student, Alyssa Yancey, is a recipient of the 2014 Jon H. Poteat National Technical Honor Society Scholarship.
This scholarship, named in honor and memory of the co-founder of the Society, is awarded annually to NTHS members who consistently exemplify the seven character attributes of the NTHS – Skill, Honesty, Service, Responsibility, Scholarship, Citizenship, and Leadership.
The student must also have an A in their program, be a member of a Career and Technology Student Organization, have less than 12 hours of absences and be recommended by their instructor. Alyssa is a new graduate of Owasso High School. She will receive $1000.00 towards her post -secondary education.
