Photo from Jerry FowlerKeep Owasso Clean is a volunteer program that allows neighbors, families and groups to join our efforts to keep our community clean by helping with litter pickup and encouraging a behavior of not littering our community.

The first event for 2017 is scheduled for Saturday, March 11th and the 2nd Saturday each month through November.

> Volunteers meet at City Hall {200 S Main St} at 9:00 AM toreceive their assigned area and supplies for picking up litter.
Project should be completed by 11:00 AM.
Volunteers are assigned areas to pick up litter then afterwards encouraged to educate others not to litter.

OWASS0_CARES_LOGOOwasso CARES Day of Service is a volunteer event developed through OSNI that is led by a volunteer group of  community leaders to provide a way for family, friends, neighbors, and groups to make a positive impact in our neighborhoods and community.

> Bi-annual event (Spring-April – Saturday-April 22nd  / Fall-September – Saturday-September 23rd )   **PLEASE RSVP if you plan to participate**
There are various projects for volunteers:  pick up litter, clean out debris from drainage areas, trim trees, paint fire hydrants, assist residents, plant, etc.

Volunteers meet at City Hall at 8:30 AM for Kick-off rally then are matched with their Leader from the Owasso CARES Leadership Team who provides details about their project and their supplies.  Generally, we try to have projects done by Noon.

If your group, organization, business, family or yourself would like to volunteer in 2017, PLEASE contact the City to sign-up and be part of an award winning initiative that is impacting our community.

**In 2017, we are looking for groups, organizations and businesses to partner with us by committing to champion a particular month.   Your commitment would be to provide 20+ volunteers for that month.  We already have one faith based organization committed for the month of April.

If you would be interested in having your group, organization or business champion a month, please contact me.

If you are not able to commit the number of volunteers to champion a particular month, we welcome you to join us whenever you can.
