Wanda Louise Blevins was born May 4, 1941, in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, to Roy Benjamin Callahan and Oletha Littlefoot Maynard Callahan. She died Wednesday, January 24, 2024, in Collinsville, Oklahoma, at the age of 82 years. She completed her education in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, and was a graduate of Sallisaw High School. Wanda was married to Harry Jameson who preceded her in death in 1982. She later married Johnny “Smokey” Blevins on August 10,1990, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Wanda spent much of her professional life as the owner and operator of Owasso Flowers. She was a longtime faithful member of Watova Full Gospel Christian Center. She enjoyed a variety of pastimes including spending time in her garden, or anything in the blazing sun and heat. She dearly loved her grandchildren and was especially fond of her role of “Mimi”.

She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Harry Jameson, son, Darren Simonds, grandson, Jordan Simonds, brothers, Ben Callahan, Bill Callahan, and Harvey Callahan, and sister, Cherokee Edwards.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 1, 2024, at the Full Gospel Christian Center in Watova, Oklahoma, with Pastor Jolie Blankenship officiating. Serving as casket bearers will be Smokey Blevins, Joe Jameson, Darrell Simonds, Derrick Jameson, John Blevins, and Connor Simonds, (in honor of Darren Simonds). Committal service and interment will follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville, Oklahoma. The family requests memorial contributions be made in Wanda’s memory to the Watova Full Gospel Christian Center, www.fgcc.churchcenter.com .
