William Ford CongletonWilliam Ford “Bill” Congleton was born July 17, 1941, in Clamath Falls, Oregon, to Ford Arlington and Gladys Alma Paxson Congleton. He died Wednesday, August 25, 2021, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 80 years. Bill completed his secondary education in Sunnyvale, California, and graduated with the Sunnyvale High School Class of 1961. He was married December 13, 1968, in Carson City, Nevada to Mamie Cooper. Bill spent most of his working life as a dump truck driver and machinist. He enjoyed a variety of pastimes including riding motorcycles and spending time working in his yard. He had a great mechanical mind and could fix anything he touched. Bill was a strong man of faith who was not shy about sharing his love for Jesus Christ or quoting scripture to others. He was a faithful member of Bible Church of Owasso and loved reading the Bible, praying, and memorizing the Word of God.

Granddaughter-in-law; Kayla Santillan
Great grandchildren; Owen McKinnis, Abigail McKinnis, Elliott McKinnis, Landon Santillan,
Mason Santillan, and Addison Santillan
Sister; Shirley Dolen
And a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Beverly Fagan, two brothers, Vern Congleton and Ford Congleton, and grandson, William Santillan.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 30, 2021, at Bible Church of Owasso with Pastor Ted Johnson officiating. Serving as casket bearers will be Marco Placencia, William Congleton II, Frank Barnes, David Congleton, John Congleton, and William Congleton III. Final resting place will be Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery in Owasso. The family requests memorial contributions be made to Bible Church of Owasso, 201 North Main, Owasso, Oklahoma, 74055. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
