11/07/2018 – Mark your calendars for Tuesday, November 27th at 6:00 p.m. as Bailey Education Foundation hosts “Bunco for a Cause.”
For November, they are partnering with the Owasso Rotary Club! Join them at 5:45pm for refreshments.
All money raised will help the Rotary Club with their Dictionary Project.
Did you know…
- Rotary’s 3rd grade Dictionary Project has been going strong for over 30 years and many Rotary Clubs all over the country serve their local 3rd graders by participating in the program as well.
- Last year, the Rotary Club of Owasso gave out over 1,000 dictionaries to the youth in our community!
- This projects helps with literacy and learning, as well as helps instill self-confidence and personal ownership. Rotarian’s will visit each 3rd grade classroom and have a formal presentation to present each child with their own, personalized dictionary with their name on it.
