Scouts and Parents from Troop #99 attended last night’s Labyrinth dedication at Stone Canyon for Nolan Henning, Eagle Scout Candidate.

The  stone labyrinth was built to provide a place for residents to go to find their center of peace. Along the path are seven inspirational words inscribed into rectangular stones, in which to reflect on one’s past, present and future.

s1Located in Stone Canyon Park, the project was a collaboration between Stone Canyon development, Planning Design Group, as landscape architect and Eagle Scout Candidate and Owasso resident Nolan Henning. Nolan worked with the architect on the measurements and precise details of materials, then led his Boy Scout Troop #99 to help with the labor in placing the stones, laying the decomposed granite and putting the finishing touches on the labyrinth.

The Dedication to Nolan Henning and Boy Scout Troop #99 was held on Monday, Sept. 30, 2013.
