Spread the love
Eddy Jay RhodenEddy Jay Rhoden, The Man…The Myth…The Legend left us much too soon on Sept 14th 2023 at 70 years young.

He was born in Tulsa Ok November 28 1952 to Jay and Bonnie Rhoden. Eddy married his wife Jeri Rhoden in 2015 and she was always lovingly by his side through his long health battle. Eddy has 1 sister Diana Mate with 3 nephews and 1 niece.

He has 2 daughters, Amy Brown and Andrea Towers, who he raised in Owasso Ok. Gained 2 sons in law, Darrell Brown and Brian Towers along the way. His grandbabies were his pride and joy and you could see him at every sports game, dance recital, school play, birthday party, cheer, etc. Grandkids are Taylor Cormier, Grace Towers, Jake Brown, Brookie Brown, and Flash Skinner.

He loved his English bulldogs Lucy and Rosie….whom we always called his favorite daughters, fishing, camping, loud rock and blues music, wrestling, comic books, superheroes especially Spiderman, enjoying a cold beer, video games, and spending time with his family. He was just a big kid.

He was a God fearing and God loving man and was baptized in 2017. He was a fighter and stubborn until the end. And we loved that about him.

He had an unmatched sense of humor and so witty. He loved telling jokes. Always wanted to have the last word while endlessly debating over pretty much anything.

To know him was to love him. And if you were lucky enough to be hugged by him, you knew he gave the best big bear hugs.
We picture him in heaven with everyone who has passed before him…welcoming him into heaven with open loving arms. And hopefully he even gets to hang out with one of his favorite rock musicians, Jimi Hendrix rocking out eternally.
