Ellie Moore was born October 1, 1942, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, to Jess and Edith Ellen (Poor) Fields. She died Friday, February 13, 2015, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 72 years. Ellie was reared and educated in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and graduated with the Central High School Class of 1960. She spent most of her working life as a billing clerk with Yellow Freight Systems in Tulsa. She was a member of the Women’s Transportation Club, Teamsters Union, and the Tulsa Ski Club. Ellie enjoyed a variety of pastimes including traveling and playing cards. She also enjoyed spending time at the Owasso Community Center. Most important was being with family and friends.
Loving family members include: Son; John Moore and his wife Pam, of Owasso Daughter; Shannon Fondren and her husband Josh, of Owasso Six grandchildren; Kendall Roldan Jonathan Moore Aaron Bell Jason Bell Madison Glocker Morgan Glocker She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, February 16, 2015, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral services will be held 2:00 Monday, February 17, 2015, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Pastor Matt Thomason officiating.
