What does Night Light Tulsa Do?   “Night Light is an event that takes place every Thursday night from 6:30pm-9:00pm. We rely on our volunteers to provide our services to Tulsa’s homeless population. As a volunteer, your night will begin at 6:30 with an orientation designed to go over our rules and expectations in order for Night Light to run smoothly and safely. It also is the time when all volunteers will be broken into smaller teams. We will have a team that will be preparing/serving food, a team that will be washing feet and clothing them in new socks, a team that will be handing out basic needs items and bottled water, a team of “minglers” whose primary job is being our eyes and ears and making sure the event is safe and secure while also being a friendly face, and a team who will be sitting at tables sharing a meal and conversation with our guests. At the end of Night Light all volunteers will come together as our clean up crew.”
