Gloria Louise Jacobs was born December 22, 1927, in Los Angeles, California, to William Davis Jacobs and Eleanor Louise Pearson Jacobs. She died Tuesday, December 13, 2022, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, at the age of 94 years. Gloria spent most of her professional career as an administrative assistant with the Amoco Corporation in Tulsa, Oklahoma. From 1985 to 2018, she worked with Aspen Park Baptist Church in Broken Arrow as their accountant. She was a strong woman of faith and was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Tulsa where she enjoyed singing in the choir and assisting in the library. She enjoyed a variety of pastimes, especially sewing and reading. She also enjoyed listening to music and playing the piano. Although she never married,

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Eleanor Jacobs, brother, Lloyd William Jacobs, and niece, Joy Lynn Jacobs.
Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 18, 2022, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Pastor Deron Spoo officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00-10:00 a.m. before the service. Committal service and interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Talala, Oklahoma. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
