Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa celebrates diner anniversary with celebrity guest
Adam Richman to host the “Ultimate Brutus Burger Challenge”

TULSA, Okla. – Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa is celebrating the HWY 66 Diner’s one-year anniversary with the “Ultimate Brutus Burger Challenge,” and recent “Man v Food” star Adam Richman is hosting the April 2 event.
“I’m excited to head to Tulsa’s Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and host the celebration challenge,” said Richman. “It’s certainly not going to be easy for any of our brave challengers, but I hope they are able to appreciate the deliciousness of the burger and embrace the fun and the excitement of taking on a food challenge in front of a passionate, cheering crowd.”
Starting at 7 p.m., four hungry contestants are attempting the monumental task of eating the “Brutus Burger,” which features 2 pounds of beef, 12 tomato slices, 12 slices of cheese, 12 strips of bacon, 2 cups of shredded lettuce and 2 cups of sliced red onions on a 10-inch soft yeast roll, accompanied by 2 pounds of fries and a whole pickle.
Also as part of the celebration, every Thursday in April HWY 66 Diner guests can experience sock hop dancers and 50s style impersonators, such as Lucille Ball, Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly and The Fonz.
For the past year, the 50s style diner has taken guests back to a time when burgers and shakes were served in classic diner settings with booths, a countertop with stools, a rockin’ jukebox and even checkered floors.
The menu features more than 50 mouthwatering selections, including breakfast served all day, appetizers, hot and cold sandwiches, burgers, foot-long hot dogs, desserts and numerous entrees.
The diner also has a wide variety of signature mac and cheese options, which are served in a 5-inch or 8-inch skillet. The All-American classic, the bacon cheeseburger and the hot dog are made with golden cheese. White cheese options include the Neapolitan that features mozzarella and ham; the Alpine that has grilled chicken, Swiss, provolone and Parmesan; and the Carbon that includes bacon, provolone, mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
The diner has made its mark among the roster of delicious dining options at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa. McGill’s on 19 is the premier fine dining establishment on the top floor of the resort’s tallest hotel tower. Buffet offers numerous styles of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food court in the non-smoking section of the casino features pizza, Mexican, breakfast and sandwiches. Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill is a two-story restaurant featuring a southern style menu. Those looking for a light snack or a Starbucks coffee can visit The Perfect Cup.
