Jeffrey F. “Jeff” Stewart was born January 30, 1984, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, to Forrest Michael Stewart and Teresa Lynn Whitlock Stewart. He died in his sleep in the early morning hours of Wednesday, Jun 5, 2024, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 40 years. Jeff completed his secondary education in Collinsville, Oklahoma, and graduated with the Collinsville High School Class of 2002. He continued his education at the University of Oklahoma, in Norman, Oklahoma, earning his Bachelors of Psychology. He completed studies at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas, earning his Masters Degree in Psychology. Jeff spent much of his professional career as a licensed counselor at his company Sundance Counseling Services in Owasso.
Jeff was on pilgrimage in Lourdes, France, when he asked the Blessed Virgin Mary to help him find a wife, and three days later he met her in Paris, France. Jeff later married that woman, the love of his life, Sham Burtally, on July 30, 2016, in Owasso, Oklahoma. He enjoyed a variety of pastimes including traveling, and was able to visit 40 states with his wife. He was very fond of his and Sham’s pet cats. He also enjoyed grilling and smoking meats for his family and friends.

And a host of other relatives and friends.
A Rosary Prayer service will be held 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at St. Therese Catholic Church in Collinsville. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 13, 2024, at St. Therese Catholic Church with Father Ernesto Cavilla officiating. Committal service and interment will follow at St. Therese Catholic Cemetery. The family requests memorial contributions be made in Jeff’s memory to The Little Lighthouse, www.littlelighthouse.org. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
