Jo Ona “Joan” Oliver was born March 22, 1943, in Woolco, Oklahoma, to Burl Raymond and Alyne Ona Griggs. She died Sunday, April 14, 2024, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 81 years. Joan completed her secondary education in Skiatook, Oklahoma, and was a graduate of Skiatook High School. She was married May 18, 1963, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Donald “Don” Lee Oliver. She spent most of her professional career as a supervisor with Automated Mail Service. After retirement, she worked for Owasso Public Schools as a bus aid for the special needs bus. Joan was the most caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and “Easy Momo” and friend to anyone who knew her.

Bonus grandchildren from the families of Shawn Caldwell, Nikki McCoy, Whitney Shafer, and Don McCloughan
Brother; Curtis Griggs and wife LaDonna Griggs and Sister-in-law Kathryn Griggs
She was preceded in death by her parents, Burl and Alyne Griggs, and brother, Wayne Griggs.
Funeral service will be held 4:30 p.m. Friday, April 19, 2024, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Leonard Pirtle officiating.
