Spread the love
Madison Renee ReedyMadison Renee Reedy entered this world on December 7th, 2002 in Stillwater, OK. From that day forward she started spreading her unlimited enthusiasm in everything she did. After spending Kindergarten & 1st grade in the Denver area, she moved to Owasso and began her 2nd grade year at Mills Elementary.
Her 4th grade year, she started playing soccer for Owasso Soccer Club as a goalie. Once she found the game, she fell in love with it. She was the girl that always had a soccer ball at her feet. After a few injuries, she decided to give up the game in 8th grade, but left the experience with lifelong friends. During her high school career she began being active in school service clubs. She was a member of National Junior Honor Society, Student Council & Spirit Crew.
Madison had an amazing passion for life & truly enjoyed the human experience. She was analytical about everything and everyone she encountered in this world. She had no filter about her analysis of any situation, but she expressed herself in such a humorous factual way you couldn’t help but laugh.
Her heart was so big! She had a love for children that was uncommon. She was always outside playing with the little kids in the neighborhood, even as she got into high school. She was the one the “Littles” in her big family looked forward to seeing at family events, and her absence leaves our little ones wondering who is going to dance with them at the next wedding.
Her favorite pastime was hassling her sister, Regan. She gave Regan many nicknames; “Fegs”, “Fegatha” & “Fagherkin the Pickle” to the point that friends know Regan by these names.
Madison was a 16 year-old Sophomore Honor Student at Owasso High School when she left an unfillable hole in all of our hearts, February 6th, 2019, leaving all of us missing her sweet smile and her desire to spread joy & the love of Jesus in everything she did.
We wish we could push a rewind button to turn back time and keep her from driving so fast that afternoon in order to save everyone this heartache. We won’t be able to see what great things she would have done with all of her talents. We hope that all of her friends will honor her life by choosing to drive safely every single time they get behind the wheel.
Madison’s goodbye to her family was always the same, so we send you with her words, “I love you. Be safe. Don’t die!”
