Marcus Clayton Roberts was born January 7, 1971, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, to Kenneth Leroy “Pete”, Jr., and Carolyn Ann Thompson Roberts. He died May 31, 2017, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 46 years and a day before the unexpected passing of his mother, Carolyn. Marcus moved with his parents to Owasso, Oklahoma, in 1984, and completed his secondary education graduating with the Owasso High School Class of 1989. He spent most of his working life as a cook with Goldie’s in Owasso and later at The Vault. He enjoyed a variety of pastimes but primarily just enjoyed hanging out with his friends.

His sister and brother-in-law; Tricia and Shawn Brinlee, and their children, Christopher, Bryce, Alexa, and Brooke Brinlee, all of Skiatook, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his father, Pete Roberts.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, June 5, 2017, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 6:00 p.m. Tuesday evening, June 6, 2017, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Jeff Voth officiating. Private family interment will be held at a later date at Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery in Owasso. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
