Carolyn Ann Roberts was born June 28, 1950, in Miami, Arizona, to Marcus Frederic and Lou Ann Wilson Thompson. She died June 1, 2017, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 66 years and one day after the unexpected passing of her son, Marcus Clayton Roberts. Carolyn was reared and educated in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and graduated with the Webster High School Class of 1968. She was married May 8, 1970, in Tulsa to Kenneth “Pete” Roberts, Jr. They had made their home in Owasso, Oklahoma, since 1984. Carolyn spent most of her working life as a credit coordinator with Lowes Home Improvement before her retirement in 2014. She loved animals and had previously been involved with One By One and There Are None pet rescues.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Pete, and son, Marcus.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, June 5, 2017, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 6:00 p.m. Tuesday evening, June 6, 2017, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Jeff Voth officiating.
