Early Readers Book Club Monday, Nov. 4 • 4:30-5:30 p.m. This is our book club for the earliest readers! Kindergarten through second-grade readers will enjoy books read aloud and then participate in an activity related to one of the books.

 

Be Internet Awesome Mondays, Nov. 4, 18, 25 • 5-6 p.m. Children will learn how to be careful while sharing online, secure their information, stand up to cyberbullying and be certifiably Internet Awesome. Animals of Harry Potter Presented by the Tulsa Zoo Thursday, Nov. 7 • 6-7 p.m. Venture into the magical world of wizardry as we discover fantastic creatures of myth and learn about the real animals behind the mysteries. Wands at the ready! Presentation will include live animals. Seating is limited. Free admission tickets will be handed out in the lobby starting at 5:30 p.m. Sponsored by the Friends of the Helmerich Library. For ages 5-12.

 

PAWS for Reading Wednesday, Nov. 13 • 4-5 p.m. Registered therapy dogs are excellent listeners. Kids ages 5-12 are invited to read their favorite books to a furry, four-pawed friend. Each reader will receive a free book provided by the Raymond and Bessie Kravis Foundation through the Tulsa Library Trust. Registration is required.
