04/28/2018 – Reports were of one subject reportedly sitting in a pickup while two others were walking in the area on foot.  An officer arrived in the area and located the pickup with the occupant inside while other officers canvassed the area looking for the subjects who had been seen on foot.

An officer observed a silver Jeep fail run a stop sign at 800 North Elm and accelerate rapidly at a high rate of speed. As the officer turned onto the street after the Jeep, he observed a man exit the vehicle and run away. After a short foot pursuit, the man was apprehended and identified as a 17 year old male.

The officers made contact with the registered owner of the Jeep, who was unaware that his vehicle had been stolen from his driveway until being
