Entrance & Lobby Closure

On Monday March 19th, we start the renovation of the Owasso Police Headquarters! The Owasso Police Department will remain fully operational throughout the seven month renovation, but as with any major construction project, there will probably be some inconvenience for those visiting our facility.

We truly appreciate your patience and we will do our very best to limit the impact this project has on our ability to provide quality customer service. For your safety, please follow the direction of all posted signs/hazard warnings and avoid any area that is marked by orange construction barriers/fencing. At various points of the project, public entrances and public parking will be shifted to allow access for the construction crews and avoid any unnecessary risk to those needing to visit police headquarters. These areas will likely vary throughout the project as the construction crews focus on different portions of the building.

On Monday (3/19), the public entrance on the SOUTH side of OPD will be closed. Large dumpsters will also be positioned on the south side for debris removal, which will limit the available parking and sidewalk access in that area. All OPD services will be available, but we ask that all customers use the public entrance on the NORTH side of the building by dispatch.

Unfortunately, the south lobby will also be temporarily blocked during demolition/debris removal, which will also block access to the prescription medication disposal drop-off box. The box should be accessible again in a couple of weeks, so we ask that you find an alternate disposal location until it re-opens.
