Phillip Eugene CryderPhillip Eugene Cryder was born December 3, 1957, in Jacinto City, Texas, he was raised by his loving parents Alvin Eugene and Betty Jo Phillips Cryder. He died Friday, June 21, 2019, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 61 years. Phillip was reared and educated in Skiatook, Oklahoma, and graduated with the Skiatook High School Class of 1976. He continued his education at Tulsa Junior College then attended Dallas Baptist College in Duncanville, Texas. Phillip began his working career with Sun Oil Company eventually joining their international group. Phillip worked for several companies internationally and loved travelling. He spent time in Colombia, Sudan, Scotland, Chile, Yemen, Bahrain, Venezuela, Russia, Brazil, Ecuador, India and Turkey. He ended his working career as a commodity control specialist with PetroQuest in McAlester, Oklahoma. Phillip enjoyed a variety of pastimes and was an avid sports fan, particularly of the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers. He served as a scout leader, coach and youth leader when his son Zach was younger, and cherished his role as “Grandpa Phillip”.

Brother and sister-in-law; Bill and Dean Cryder, of Owasso and their children
Mother; Betty Jo Cryder, of Skiatook, Oklahoma
He was preceded in death by his father, Gene Cryder.
 
Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2019, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Reverend Kevin Laufer officiating. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Liver Foundation, 39 Broadway, Suite #2700, New York, New York, 10006, or at liverfoundation.org. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
