Robert G. "Bob" CoteRobert Gerard “Bob” Coté was born November 16, 1938, in Manchester, New Hampshire, to Romeo Alfred Coté and Irene Liliane Gelinas Coté. He died Wednesday, December 14, 2022, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 84 years. Bob was a veteran of the armed forces having served his country with the United States Navy over 23 years as a radio operator and interpreter. While stationed in San Diego, California he met Sandie Thomas and they were married October 27, 1972. After his retirement from the Navy, Bob and Sandie made their home in Duncan, Oklahoma where he spent much of his professional career as a supervisor with Haliburton. During this time he completed his education attending Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma earning his bachelor’s degree in business. After retiring from Haliburton in 1995, Bob moved his family to Owasso, Oklahoma where he called home until his passing. He enjoyed a variety of pastimes, but his family was most important and he always made time to attend their activities and coaching them in sports. He was especially fond of his role of “Poppy” and “Grandpa” to his grandchildren;

Sister; Millie Lemire, of San Diego, California
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Anna Lord.
 
Memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso. The family requests memorial contributions be made in Bob’s memory to the Folds of Honor Foundation, Department #13, Tulsa, Oklahoma, 74182, or at [email protected] . Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
