Ruby Lee Potter was born August 20, 1934, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Jesse Elmer and Nora Ethel (Rood) Reamey. She died Sunday, November 17, 2019, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 85 years. Ruby was reared and educated in Tulsa and was a graduate of Will Rogers High School Class of 1953. She was married March 4, 1953, at White City Baptist Church in Tulsa to Ernest (Ernie) Potter. Ruby spent her life as a homemaker, raising children and grandchildren. She was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed traveling.

Brother; Roy Reamey and wife Jackie, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma
She was preceded in death by her parents, six siblings, and both of her children; son, Danny Potter, and daughter, Susan, McDaniel.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 20, 2019, at Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, November 21, 2019, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel with Reverend Joshua Kerr officiating. Committal service and interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa.
