Jason Williamson Sr

02/04/2019 – On Sunday, February 3rd, at approximately 08:54 am., Owasso Police took a report for a domestic A&B that had just occurred in the area of 100 West 7th Street.

The victim advised that her boyfriend had just assaulted her.  While taking the report, it was discovered that the suspect, Jason Williamson Sr., DOB-02/29/1976 had several outstanding felony warrants out of Kay County. The warrants were for Indecent Exposure, Poss. of CDS (meth), and Domestic A&B.

Deputy Chief of Police Jason Woodruff tells us as officers were clearing the residence, they discovered the suspect hiding in a bedroom closet. Officers gave numerous commands for the suspect to surrender peacefully, but he continued to refuse orders. Officers deployed less lethal option (pepper ball) on the suspect, but he continued to refuse to exit the closet. The suspect then stood up, ran out of the closet and began swinging at officers and making statements for officers to kill him. Officers were eventually able to gain control of the suspect. The suspect received numerous lacerations during the altercation.

The suspect was treated on scene by the Owasso Medics and was transported to the hospital.  Three OPD officers were also injured, two of which were transported to the hospital.
