Charles Marion Caillouette Jr.Charley Marion Caillouette Jr, better known as Charles, was born August 1, 1933 in San Antonio, Texas, to Charley Marion and Doris Edna Richter Caillouette. He died Tuesday, July 21, 2020, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 86 years. Charles completed his secondary education in San Antonio, Texas then joined the military and as a veteran of the armed forces served over twenty years with the United States Air Force during the Korean War and the Vietnam War. After his retirement from the United States Air Force he completed his associates degree attending Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas. He then worked for and retired, as a letter carrier with the United States Postal Service. Charles was married February 14, 1996, Valentines Day, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Lois Virginia Bennett. He was a faithful Christian who loved to read his Bible. He taught Bible study groups at First Baptist Church in Collinsville, Oklahoma, as well as teaching at the Baptist Village in Owasso. He enjoyed working with plants and completed the master gardener class. As a master gardener was often sought out for questions regarding raising flowers, shrubs, and trees. He and Lois enjoyed traveling together and had been to Hawaii, Niagara Falls, Alaska three times, and many other travels.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
 
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, July 24, 2020, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 25, 2020, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Pastor Tim Prock officiating. Final resting place will be at Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Adams Resident Assistance Fund at 7410 North 127th East Avenue, Owasso, Oklahoma 74055.
