Melizsa Sue Mooney was born on November 14, 1980 in Claremore, Oklahoma to Scott L. Mooney and Lisa Dalene (Bailey) Mooney. She died on Monday, April 19, 2021 at her home in Owasso, Oklahoma at the age of 40 years. Melizsa was raised and educated in Owasso, Oklahoma and graduated with the Owasso High School Class of 1999. After high school, she attended Platt College where she studied to be a Dental Assistant. Melizsa spent most of her working life as a Service Desk Clerk at Home Depot in Owasso for 10 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed a variety of past times such as four wheeling, camping, skiing, and playing softball.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 26, 2021 at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service.
