visiting angels alzheimers

Alzheimer’s is an ugly disease, not only attacking the body of the individual, but their mind as well. It attacks the family of the individual as they see their loved one’s memory and health slipping away.Page Cole experienced this first hand as his grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. She died after several years of a prolonged battle with the disease. Because of his work at Visiting Angels, Page encounters families nearly every day who are being affected by Alzheimer’s disease.

Page & Ronda Cole, owners of Visiting Angels of Green Country (Tulsa Metro & Bartlesville) will be walking down Route 66, from Tulsa, OK to their hometown of El Reno, OK, to raise money for Alzheimer’s research & programs supported by the Alzheimer’s Association. They will leave on March 15th, 2014 from the Arkansas River Bridge near downtown Tulsa, and travel nearly 150 miles arriving in El Reno on March 21st!
