The Pride of Owasso Band is in Ireland this week to perform in one of the world’s largest St. Patrick’s Day celebrations.
The Owasso High School band left for Dublin, Ireland Wednesday and will march in the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Monday, March 17th.
The Pride received an invitation last year to join other high school, university and professional bands from around the world at the event. The selection process is based on a submitted video and previous reputation.
Band members have spent the last few months fundraising, practicing and preparing for the trip.
