02/23/2018 – Owasso Police Department and Owasso Public Schools have been dealing with these threats over the last week:
Thursday the 15th, there was a reported threat of violence made against the 7th Grade Center by a student. It was reported and charges are being presented to the DA’s office against that student.
Friday, the 16th, there was a report of a threat of violence at the 6th
Grade Center. It was thoroughly investigated, found to be
unsubstantiated and not credible.
No School on Monday or Tuesday
Wednesday the 21st there was a threat of violence at the 7th Grade
Center by a student. It was reported and charges are being presented to the DA’s office against that student.
Thursday the 22nd there was a report of a threat of violence made at the 8th Grade Center. It was thoroughly investigated, found to be
unsubstantiated and not credible.
Friday (today) social media was extremely active about threats at the
8th grade center however it was thoroughly investigated and found that no one ever saw an actual posted threat. It was rumors on top of
rumors. It was found to be not credible.
