05/15/2019 – Owasso Rams Special Olympics teams left for state games in Stillwater today, with quite a sendoff!

Members of the Pride of Owasso led a parade of team members as they were cheered on by students and teachers who lined the hallways.

A mini pep rally of sorts met the athletes outside the doors, as Rambo, Owasso Cheer, and parents waited and cheered.

Students loaded six buses and were on their way, complete with an Owasso Police Department escort out of town.

Many well-wishers lined 86th Street, cheering as buses passed by. The entire student body of the Owasso 7th Grade Center lined the fence in front of the school to cheer on fellow Rams.

Good luck to all of our Owasso Special Olympics members.
