Ramiro Armando Acosta was born September 11, 1979, in San Vicente, El Salvador, to Fermin and Maifluver (Cervantes) Acosta. He passed from this life Monday, January 29, 2018, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 38 years. Ramiro was raised and educated in El Salvador and graduated high school from there with the Class of 1997. He was married October 12, 2002, in Owasso, Oklahoma, to Brandi (Tomco) Acosta. He had spent the last 10 years working as the logistics and fulfillment coordinator for the Walmart Distribution Center in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Ramiro was most recently attending St. Henry Catholic Church in Owasso. He was very active in volunteering for the Owasso Soccer Club and had coached his son, Logan, with his 12 and under soccer team; and he also helped coach his daughter, Lola, and her softball team. Ramiro also enjoyed taking vacations with his family, going to the lake, attending concerts, Bailise style dancing, and supporting his beloved Pittsburg Steelers.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, February 2, 2018, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 3, 2018, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Reverend Leonard Pirtle officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in Ramiro’s memory to the Owasso Sports Complex, 1058 East 114th Street North, Owasso, OK 74055. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service.
