Stephen Randolph Aston was born November 14, 1941, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, to John Franklin and Sarah Jane Randolph Aston. He died Friday, December 25, 2020, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 79. Steve grew up in Fairfax, Oklahoma, and was graduate of Fairfax High School. He enjoyed wood shop class and playing football for the Red Devils and was captain of the high school football team. He spent most of his working life in the freight industry with Texas Oklahoma Express and Coca-Cola as a driver, supervisor, and administrator with stints in the oil field and as an assembler at Lowes before his retirement. Steve was a loving husband and father and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. Steve was a faithful member of Collinsville Christian Church. He enjoyed a variety of pastimes including woodworking, gardening, working in the yard, and especially fishing. He also enjoyed feeding the deer that walked around his home as well as feeding the birds. Steve was very social and loved to visit. He was always willing to help others, particularly those in his church, whether they needed a ride to the doctor, their yard mowed or just a friendly chat.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, John Aston and Jim Aston, as well as Kitty Aston and Judy Aston.
Memorial service will be held 10:30 am, Thursday, December 31, 2020, at Collinsville Christian Church with Pastor Bob Haywood officiating. Final resting place will be at Fairfax Cemetery in Fairfax, Oklahoma. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
